What is PCB depanelization?
Separating a panel of printed circuit boards into single boards. On V-scored panels, a V-cut depaneling machine does it along the score, with no bending and the least stress on the parts near the edge.
Which PCB depaneling machine do I need?

Is a depaneler the same as a PCB separator or V-score cutter?
Yes. Buyers call it a PCB separator, a V-score cutter or a depanelizer. All of them separate V-scored panels along the score.
Is a V-cut depaneler an alternative to a laser?
For V-scored FR4 panels, yes. It separates along the score with no heat, no fumes and no char on the edge, at a fraction of the cost of a laser system. A laser earns its place on tab-routed, flex or unscored panels, which a V-cut machine does not cut.
