Returns & Warranty Policy

Effective: July 18, 2026 Last updated: July 25, 2026 info@pcbracks.com · California, United States

What is covered, what is not, and how to file a claim. Three parts: racks and handling products, depaneling equipment, and the general terms that apply to every order.

Part 1 · PCB racks and handling products

Warranty

Magazine racks, universal racks, and handling products are warranted to be free of defects in materials and workmanship at the time of delivery. Racks are consumable products in daily production use and carry no ongoing standard warranty beyond that. If your item arrives damaged, defective, or not matching the product ordered, PCBRacks.com will issue a one-time replacement at no charge. Buyer must notify PCBRacks.com within 48 hours of delivery with photographic evidence of the damage or defect. Replacement will not be processed without photos. Buyer is responsible for return shipping of the defective item.

The sole remedy for a confirmed defect is repair or replacement of the affected item at PCBRacks.com's discretion. Wear resulting from normal production use, including slots, belts, gears, panels, and other consumable elements, is not a defect and is excluded from coverage. Replacement wear parts are sold as spares while a product remains in the catalog.

PCBRacks.com is not responsible for damage caused by improper use, modification, exposure to chemicals not specified for use with the product, overloading beyond rated capacity, or normal wear and tear. Warranty claims are limited to replacement of the defective item only. PCBRacks.com will not reimburse labor costs, production downtime, installation costs, or any other expense incurred as a result of a defective product.

Returns

All sales are final. No returns, refunds, or credits will be issued under any circumstances.

Exchanges

Exchanges are available within 14 calendar days of delivery. Item must be unused, in original packaging, and in resalable condition. Buyer covers shipping both ways. Exchange requests must be submitted in writing to info@pcbracks.com. PCBRacks.com reserves the right to deny any exchange request if the product does not meet the above conditions. No exchanges will be processed after 14 calendar days from the delivery date. Exchanges are limited to one per original order line item.

Part 2 · PCB depaneling equipment

Warranty

All depaneling equipment is covered by a 1-year warranty beginning on the date of confirmed delivery. This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal operating conditions as described in the operation manual provided with each unit. Wear items, including but not limited to cutting blades, scoring wheels, guide rails, and any component subject to routine replacement during normal use, are expressly excluded from warranty coverage.

Warranty claims must be submitted in writing to info@pcbracks.com with a description of the issue, photos or video of the defect, serial number, and proof of purchase. PCBRacks.com will determine, at its sole discretion, whether the claim qualifies for warranty repair or replacement. If PCBRacks.com determines the unit must be returned for inspection, buyer covers shipping to PCBRacks.com and PCBRacks.com covers return shipping of the repaired or replaced unit.

Warranty is void if the equipment has been opened, serviced, or repaired by anyone other than PCBRacks.com or a PCBRacks.com-authorized representative. Warranty is void if the equipment has been operated outside the specifications outlined in the operation manual, including but not limited to incorrect voltage, exceeding rated PCB thickness, or use in environments outside stated operating temperature and humidity ranges. PCBRacks.com is not responsible for equipment damage caused by misuse, unauthorized modification, power surges, improper voltage, neglect, accidents, acts of nature, or failure to follow the operation manual.

Warranty coverage is non-transferable. It applies only to the original purchasing entity and the original installation location. Warranty claims are limited to repair or replacement of the defective unit at PCBRacks.com's sole discretion. PCBRacks.com will not reimburse labor costs, production downtime, lost revenue, installation costs, removal costs, freight costs associated with the buyer's end product, or any other direct or indirect expense incurred as a result of a warranty claim.

Returns

All sales are final. No returns, refunds, or credits will be issued under any circumstances.

Exchanges

Exchanges are available on a case-by-case basis and must be approved in writing by PCBRacks.com prior to shipment of the exchange unit. Buyer covers shipping both ways. Equipment must be unused, in original packaging, and in the same condition as delivered. Exchange requests must be submitted within 14 calendar days of delivery. No exchanges will be processed after 14 calendar days from the delivery date.

Part 3 · General terms for all orders

Inspection and acceptance

Buyer is responsible for inspecting all goods immediately upon receipt. Any damage, shortage, or discrepancy must be reported in writing to info@pcbracks.com within 48 hours of delivery with photographic evidence. For shipments arranged and prepaid through PCBRacks.com at checkout, PCBRacks.com will file the carrier claim and repair or replace items confirmed damaged in transit when reported within this window. For freight-collect or buyer-arranged shipments (EXW), transit damage claims are the buyer's responsibility with the carrier. Claims submitted after 48 hours will not be honored. Signing for a delivery without noting visible damage on the carrier's bill of lading constitutes acceptance of the shipment in good condition. Buyer must retain all original packaging materials until the 48-hour inspection window has closed. Disposal of packaging before that period voids any damage claim.

Shipping and risk of loss

All orders ship under EXW (Ex Works) terms from our facility in California unless otherwise agreed in writing. Title and risk of loss transfer to the buyer at the point of pickup from our facility. PCBRacks.com is not liable for damage, loss, or delay occurring during transit. Buyer is responsible for filing claims directly with the freight carrier for any shipping damage on buyer-arranged shipments. PCBRacks.com will, at its discretion, assist with carrier claims documentation but assumes no financial responsibility. Buyer is solely responsible for selecting adequate shipping insurance. PCBRacks.com is not liable for uninsured or underinsured shipments.

Partial shipments and backorders

PCBRacks.com reserves the right to fulfill orders in partial shipments. Each partial shipment will be invoiced separately and payment is due per the terms on each invoice. Backorders will be communicated in writing with an estimated ship date. Buyer may not cancel backordered items once production has begun.

Order cancellations

Rack orders that have already shipped cannot be cancelled. Depaneling equipment orders may be cancelled only if production has not yet begun. If production has started, a cancellation fee of 25% of the order total will apply. PCBRacks.com will confirm production status in writing upon receipt of a cancellation request. Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to info@pcbracks.com. Verbal cancellations are not accepted.

Order accuracy

Buyer is solely responsible for verifying all product specifications, quantities, and shipping details at the time of order placement. PCBRacks.com is not responsible for errors in orders placed by the buyer, including incorrect part numbers, quantities, or shipping addresses. Orders placed with incorrect information will be subject to standard exchange and shipping policies.

Pricing and payment

All prices listed on PCBRacks.com are in US dollars and are subject to change without prior notice. Prices are confirmed at the time of order placement. Payment is due according to the terms on the invoice. NET 30 terms are available for returning customers only and are subject to credit approval at PCBRacks.com's sole discretion. PCBRacks.com reserves the right to revoke NET 30 terms at any time and for any reason without prior notice. Late payments are subject to a 1.5% monthly finance charge on the outstanding balance. PCBRacks.com reserves the right to suspend or cancel any open orders if payment is past due. Buyer is responsible for all collection costs, including reasonable attorneys' fees, incurred by PCBRacks.com in the collection of past-due amounts.

Taxes, duties and import fees

All prices are exclusive of taxes. Buyer is solely responsible for all applicable sales tax, use tax, VAT, customs duties, import fees, brokerage charges, and any other governmental charges associated with the purchase, import, or use of PCBRacks.com products. PCBRacks.com will collect sales tax where legally required. Tax-exempt buyers must provide a valid exemption certificate prior to order placement.

Product recalls and discontinuation

In the unlikely event of a product recall, PCBRacks.com will notify affected buyers in writing with recall details and instructions. Liability in a recall is limited to repair, replacement, or credit for the recalled product at PCBRacks.com's sole discretion. PCBRacks.com is not responsible for costs incurred by the buyer or buyer's customers in connection with a recall, including labor, downtime, shipping, rework, notification costs, or regulatory penalties. PCBRacks.com may discontinue any product at any time without prior notice and is not obligated to provide replacements, substitutes, or ongoing spare parts availability for discontinued items.

Your process, your responsibility

PCBRacks.com products are passive handling and cutting equipment operated entirely inside the buyer's facility, by the buyer's personnel, under the buyer's process control. Buyer assumes sole responsibility for product selection, operator training, loading practices, ESD program compliance, blade adjustment and replacement, and every production outcome achieved with the products. PCBRacks.com is not responsible or liable for any production mistake, scrapped boards, damaged components, or any other loss occurring in the buyer's operation, whether attributed to product selection, product condition, operator error, worn parts that were not replaced, or any other cause. Products used outside their published specifications, used for unintended purposes, or modified in any way are used entirely at the buyer's risk, and all warranties on those products are void.

Limitation of liability

Under no circumstances shall PCBRacks.com be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of revenue, loss of production, cost of substitute goods, cost of rework, damage to buyer's end product, damage to buyer's customer relationships, personal injury claims arising from product use, or any other commercial or economic loss, regardless of whether PCBRacks.com has been advised of the possibility of such damages. PCBRacks.com's total aggregate liability for any and all claims arising from any single order shall not exceed the purchase price of the specific product(s) giving rise to the claim. This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory under which liability is asserted, including contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or otherwise.

Indemnification

Buyer agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless PCBRacks.com, its owners, officers, employees, agents, and suppliers from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to buyer's use, storage, resale, modification, or distribution of PCBRacks.com products, including product liability claims brought by buyer's customers or end users, claims arising from buyer's failure to follow product specifications or the operation manual, and claims arising from buyer's marketing representations about PCBRacks.com products that were not authorized in writing by PCBRacks.com.

Everything else

Product suitability and compliance, export controls, pricing confidentiality, unauthorized representations, intellectual property, force majeure, chargebacks, dispute resolution, governing law, severability, and the entire-agreement clause are governed by our Terms of Service, which apply to every order and are incorporated into this policy by reference. This policy may be updated at any time; the version in effect at the time of order placement governs that transaction.
