100,000 cycles per blade

Up to 100,000 cycles per blade, with 50,000+ typical on a working line.

That works out to about $136.70 per 10,000 cycles at full life.

Actual life varies with panel material, thickness and score depth. Run it until the edge tells you, not the calendar.

Add the spare blade. Up to 100,000 cycles, and it is the machine's one consumable.

VPD3-1CB · Circular Blade for VPD3-1M $758.00

A depaneler with a dull blade and no spare is a stopped process. Ship the spare with the machine and it never happens. Or take both as the Blade Pair Kit and save $212.00.

Questions engineers ask

Is this the same linear blade that ships with the machine?
Yes. This is the standard included profile. If you need a custom profile (different score depth or component clearance), tell us in the order notes, we make those on request.
Can I install it myself?
Yes. The blade swap is a single-tool field replacement. The Spare Parts List PDF in the VPD3-1M product page covers the step-by-step.
How does this differ from the circular blade?
The circular blade (VPD3-1CB) rotates and rides over this stationary linear blade. The two together form the scissor-shear cut on the V-score.
Do you make custom blades for non-standard board geometries?
Yes. We manufacture custom blade profiles for non-standard score depths, board thicknesses, or component-clearance envelopes. Email info@pcbracks.com with your panel drawing, score-depth spec, and target component clearance, we’ll quote a custom blade matched to your application.
