Description
REF 03The PCBH-2L-C is a 25-slot conductive polypropylene wide-base board holder with a double wide-angle, L-shaped design. Each slot is 3 mm wide with a 5 mm depth and a 5 mm pitch, the tightest pitch in the catalog, and the angled L-presentation fans boards out for direct visual and physical access to both sides without pulling any one board out of its slot.
The 355 × 270 mm footprint sits stable on workbenches, inspection tables, and ESD-safe carts. At 130 mm tall, boards sit high enough that operators don’t bend or reach into a flat rack to read marking, solder joints, or component placement. 0.44 kg empty, heavier than the PCBH-C, which keeps the holder planted when boards are added or removed.
Conductive PP material at 10⁴–10⁹ Ω, spanning both the conductive and dissipative ESD bands, keeps boards protected through inspection, QC, and hand work. Not for in-line SMT automation, this is the operator-facing inspection / QC workhorse.

REF 12What’s the difference between a PCB “holder” and a PCB “rack”?
A rack (RA series, magazine racks) is a horizontal storage / transport container designed for moving boards between stations or feeding them into in-line SMT equipment. A holder (PCBH series) is an angled benchtop presenter designed to sit next to an operator and present boards for active hand soldering, inspection, or rework. Holders aren’t for transport, they live on the bench.
What does “double wide-angle” mean? How is it different from the PCBH-C?
The PCBH-C presents boards at a single vertical angle in a compact footprint, ideal for hand soldering at a small bench. The PCBH-2L-C uses a double wide-angle, L-shaped design on a wider 355 × 270 mm base. Boards fan out at a deeper angle, presenting both sides of every board for direct visual access, designed for inspection, QC, and stations where techs need to read multiple boards at a glance without pulling each one out of a slot.
Why is the ESD range 10⁴–10⁹ Ω instead of 10⁴–10⁶ like the RA series?
The PCBH-2L-C uses a Conductive PP formulation that spans both the conductive (10⁴–10⁶ Ω) and dissipative (10⁶–10⁹ Ω) bands per ESD Association classification. Either band is appropriate for an EPA-controlled workstation; the dissipative band is preferred when slower charge decay is desired (e.g. for ESD-sensitive Class 2 components). The RA series is calibrated tighter to the conductive band only. If your ESD program specifies a particular range, check with sales for a fit confirmation.
I have larger boards or a wider workstation, PCBH-C or PCBH-2L-C?
Pick the PCBH-C if your bench is space-constrained or your boards stay under 265 × 205 mm, the compact form factor takes the smallest footprint in the catalog. Pick the PCBH-2L-C if you have larger boards (up to 355 × 270 mm), your workstation is an inspection / QC station, or you want the wider angled presentation for two-side visual access. Both share the same conductive PP material, ESD spec, and 25-slot capacity.
Will the PCBH-2L-C fit my SMT loader / unloader?
No. The PCBH-2L-C is a benchtop holder, not an in-line magazine rack. The wide L-shaped form and angled slot geometry are optimized for operator-facing inspection / QC, not pickup-machine interfaces. For in-line SMT loader / unloader compatibility, look at the Gear Adjustment or Belt Adjustment magazine racks.
