PCBH-C loaded with boards

Slot · 3 mm wide, 5 mm deep

Each of the 25 slots takes the board's edge with room for connectors and overhang, and the wide vertical angle keeps one-hand insertion clean while the other hand holds the iron.

25 slots · 10 mm pitch

The smallest bench footprint in the catalog: a full batch stands upright in 265 × 205 mm instead of lying flat across the bench.

95 mm tall body

Structural support molded into the base, so the holder does not tip when picked up loaded.

10⁴–10⁹ Ω conductive PP

Safe inside the EPA from hand soldering to inspection; NASTC and SGS RoHS documentation on request.

Description

External dimensions (L × W × H): 10″ × 8″ × 4″ · 265 × 205 × 95 mm

The PCBH-C is a 25-slot conductive polypropylene board holder built for benchtop use. Each slot is 3 mm wide with a 5 mm depth and a 10 mm pitch, holding boards upright at a wide-angle vertical for clean one-hand insertion and removal during active work.

The compact 265 × 205 mm footprint fits next to a soldering iron, hot-air station, or microscope without taking over the bench. The 95 mm tall body provides structural support so the holder won’t tip when picked up loaded.

Conductive PP material at 10⁴–10⁹ Ω, inside the dissipative band under ANSI/ESD S541, keeps boards protected through hand soldering, inspection, and rework. Not for in-line SMT automation, the tight pitch and benchtop form are optimized for operator-facing work.

Standards referenced

ANSI/ESD S541
The ESD Association standard for packaging materials in an EPA. It classifies surface resistance into conductive (below 10⁴ Ω), dissipative (10⁴ to below 10¹¹ Ω) and insulative bands. Our measured 10⁴–10⁹ Ω sits inside the dissipative band, the range specified for board handling.

Questions engineers ask

Will my boards fit?
Boards up to 152 × 152 mm (6″ × 6″) fit, down to 50 × 50 mm, at up to 2.4 mm thick. Each of the 25 slots is 3 mm wide and 5 mm deep on a 10 mm pitch.
PCBH-C or PCBH-2L-C, which one do I need?
The PCBH-C is the tight-footprint single-angle stand for benches where space is scarce: soldering, rework, microscope work. The PCBH-2L-C is the wide-base double-angle stand that fans boards out so you can see and reach both sides, built for inspection and QC.
Is it ESD-safe for our EPA workstations?
Yes. Conductive polypropylene with surface resistance in the 10⁴–10⁹ Ω band (dissipative per ANSI/ESD S541). NASTC ESD test reports and SGS RoHS certificates are available on request for audit files.
How does it ship, and how fast?
It ships as a pack of 10 from US stock; in-stock orders ship in under 24 hours. Rack orders over $1,000 ship free ground within the continental US.
Can it go through an oven or reflow?
No. This is a room-temperature bench fixture rated to +80 °C. For bake, cure, or reflow, use the magazine racks: 200 °C (GM/M) or the all-aluminum 300 °C HT Series.
Does it work with SMT loaders?
No, it's a benchtop stand for manual work, not an in-line magazine. For loader compatibility, look at the B0103–B0109 magazine racks.
How do I clean it without ruining the ESD surface?
Warm water with a mild pH-neutral detergent; IPA 70% for spot cleaning. Never use acetone, aromatic or halogenated solvents, or abrasives, and take boards out of the holder before spraying flux remover: repeated overspray does the same damage as deliberate solvent cleaning. Dry fully before boards go back in.
Where do I get the spec sheet or CAD?
The spec sheet PDF is behind the Download spec sheet button on this page, one short form unlocks the whole document library. Drawings and CAD are handled personally: request them by email and the team follows up.
