Which V-cut blade fits my depaneler?

  • VPD3-1M (manual, cuts up to 290 mm (11.4″), boards 0.6 to 1.9 mm (0.024″ to 0.075″)): the VPD3-1CB circular blade and the VPD3-1LB stationary linear blade, or both in the VPD3-1M Blade Pair Kit. Older numbers VPD3-1CK and VPD3C-1LK.
  • VPD5-330 (pneumatic, cuts up to 330 mm (13″), boards 0.6 to 2.54 mm (0.024″ to 0.100″)): the VPD5-330LK linear blade set, a matched pair. Also the VPD5-330-P04 foot pedal switch and the VPD5-330-P13 handle assembly.
  • Custom blades: made on request for the VPD3-1M and VPD5-330, quoted from your board thickness and score depth.

What is the difference between the circular and the linear blade on the VPD3-1M?

They are the two halves of one shear. The VPD3-1CB circular blade rides on the moving carriage over the VPD3-1LB, the stationary linear blade. They wear against each other, so change them together: a new blade running against a worn one wears fast and cuts unevenly. The blade pair kit buys both for $1,913.00, against $2,125.00 bought separately.

My old blade is marked VPD3-1CK or VPD3C-1LK. Which one do I order?

Same blades, newer numbers. VPD3-1CK is now the VPD3-1CB circular blade, and VPD3C-1LK is now the VPD3-1LB stationary linear blade. Send us the serial number off your machine and we confirm the pair before you order.

Do you make custom V-cut blades?

Yes. We make custom blades on request for the VPD3-1M and the VPD5-330, quoted from your board thickness and score depth. Send us those two numbers and we come back with a quote.

How much does a V-cut blade cost?
