B0103GN-80C Rack + Wear Kit Bundle

The B0103GN-80C rack + wear kit bundle ships the B0103GN-80C 50-slot ESD magazine rack together with the Rack Wear Kit that services it, for $273 instead of $287 bought separately. The rack is 80 °C, 10 mm (0.394″) slot pitch, adjustable 50–250 mm (1.97″–9.84″). The kit holds the gear tracks, lever sets, stopper bar, plastic gears and slot stoppers that wear first on a gear-adjust rack, so a worn rack is repaired at the bench instead of idling a line waiting on parts.

Description

One rack and its full wear kit in one line item, priced 5% under buying them separately. The kit rides in the rack carton, one shipment.

  • 1 x B0103GN-80C 50-Slot Gear-Adjustable ESD Magazine Rack
  • 1 x Rack Wear Kit for B0103 / B0105 chassis: gear tracks, latches, stopper bar, gears and slot stoppers

A worn track or latch takes a rack off the line, and the replacement is weeks out when it ships from Asia. This puts the spare set on your shelf the day the rack arrives.

Standards referenced

ANSI/ESD S541
The ESD Association standard for packaging materials in an EPA. It classifies surface resistance into conductive (below 10⁴ Ω), dissipative (10⁴ to below 10¹¹ Ω) and insulative bands. Our measured 10⁴–10⁶ Ω sits in the dissipative band, the range specified for board handling.
RoHS (EU) 2015/863
The EU restriction on hazardous substances in electrical equipment: lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, PBB, PBDE and four phthalates. All 20 components of this product were tested and passed (SGS report NGBEC25007648601).

Questions engineers ask

Is this cheaper than buying the rack and kit separately?
Yes. The bundle is $273; the B0103GN-80C rack at $188 plus the Rack Wear Kit at $99 is $287 bought on their own, so the bundle saves $14. Same two products, one line on the PO.
Do I need the wear kit on day one?
Not on day one. The kit is insurance against the day a gear rounds off or a lever set gives up, which on a rack that changes board width daily is a question of when. Having it on the shelf turns that into a bench repair instead of a wait for a part.
Does the wear kit fit this exact rack?
Yes, that is the point of the bundle. The kit shipped here is the variant matched to the B0103 chassis. The wear kit fits gear-adjust racks only; screw and belt racks wear at the panels and frame instead.
