Which magazine rack feeds a 50-board lot through the SMT loader without a width re-tool? The B0103GN-80C
· PCBRacks.com engineering team
B0103GN-80C is a 50-slot ESD magazine rack for SMT loaders and unloaders and for board storage between process steps. Its gear track sets the board width from 50 to 250 mm (1.97 to 9.84 in) in seconds, and that's why it's our most-bought magazine rack: it doesn't need a second set of racks when the product changes.

What slows a line down at the loader?
Width changes. Every product change on the line means racks set to the new board width, and a rack that's drifted out of parallel feeds the loader a skewed board. You don't notice until the loader jams. On the B0103GN-80C both walls ride one gear track, so the 50 slots stay parallel from the first slot to the last at every width. One rack covers the standard formats without a second set of racks.
The other time sink is a damaged wall. Each wall here is five interchangeable conductive panels, so a cracked panel is a panel swap, not a rack out of service. Panels are stock spares, and you'll find them on the spare parts page.
What is it made of, and what does it take?
| Slots | 50, on a 10 mm (0.394 in) pitch |
|---|---|
| Board width | 50 to 250 mm (1.97 to 9.84 in), gear-track adjustment |
| Walls | 5 interchangeable conductive PPE panels per wall |
| Frame | Aluminum pillars, galvanized steel base |
| Conductive path | 10⁴ Ω, end to end |
| Temperature | 80 °C (176 °F) ambient envelope |
| Stacking | Full racks stack 5 high |
| Hot siblings | B0103GM-200C, 200 °C (392 °F); B0103GL HT-300C, 300 °C (572 °F), all-aluminum |
The 80 °C (176 °F) rating covers transport, storage, soldering, inspection and cleaning. For bake and cure cycles the same chassis comes as the B0103GM-200C and the all-aluminum B0103GL HT-300C, so a line can mix ratings and keep one spare-parts kit. They're the same width and the same slot count, so they go through the same loader.
Where is it used?
On the SMT line it feeds the loader and takes boards off the unloader. Between steps it keeps a full lot apart on a fixed pitch, so the lot moves from cell to cell as one unit. Contract manufacturers, aerospace and defense plants, automotive electronics and medical device lines run it, and so do test and repair labs that keep WIP on racks. It's also what we'd send a line that's replacing worn racks of another make: the width range covers what they're used to.
How fast does it ship?
Racks ship from the USA in under 24 hours if in stock: orders by noon Pacific ship the same business day. Twenty or more racks from the magazine family take a volume discount at checkout; the magazine rack collection has the tiers.
