If your boards are **longer than B0106’s 460 mm** but don’t need the full 460 mm width of the B0109 maximum-format chassis, you’re paying for footprint you don’t use. The B0108GN-80C is the **in-between chassis**: 535 mm long (matches B0109) but only 390 mm wide (vs 460 mm), the right size for long, narrow-to-medium-width boards. The B0108GN-80C is an extra-large-format 50-slot ESD magazine rack built for in-line SMT automation, board storage, and bench-to-bench transport on long-board lines. Gear-track adjustment sets the board width from 50 to 390 mm in seconds, with parallelism maintained across all 50 slots, one rack covers the full extra-large-format range (up to 535 × 390 mm boards) without re-tooling.

Construction: 5 interchangeable Conductive PPE side panels per wall, aluminum pillars, galvanized steel base. The mixed-material build provides structural rigidity under repeated loading and inline conveyor handling, while keeping the entire current path in the conductive 10⁴–10⁶ Ω band per ESD Association classification. Sectioned panels can be swapped individually if one is damaged, the rack stays in service.

Designed for the standard 80 °C ambient envelope (transport, storage, soldering, inspection, cleaning). For bake or cure cycles, see the B0108GM-200C (200 °C) sibling on the same extra-large chassis. Will the B0108GN-80C drop into my SMT loader / unloader?
The 569 mm chassis height (+6 mm vs B0103/B0106 at 563 mm) and 10 mm slot pitch align with the standard interface used by ASM SIPLACE, Yamaha YSM, Panasonic NPM, Juki RS, and most other in-line SMT loader / unloader equipment. The **535 × 460 mm footprint** is the extra-large-format chassis, loaders configured for B0103 / B0106 racks may need their lock-down position adjusted for the 6 mm height delta and the larger footprint. Reference offsets are **A=34, B=40**, the B=40 dimension is unique to the B0108 chassis (B0103/B0106 use B=34, B0109 uses B=40). Confirm with your loader / unloader vendor before ordering.
What does “parallelism monitored” gear-track adjustment actually do?
Both side panels travel on a synchronized rack-and-pinion gear track. Turn the adjustment knob on either side and the opposite panel travels the same distance in the same direction, parallelism is **mechanically monitored**, not just operator-eyeballed. The result: a width spec set on Monday loads the same boards on Friday, and both panels stay parallel through the full 50–390 mm travel range.
Can I bake the B0108GN-80C? What’s the temperature ceiling?
The GN-80C variant is rated −20 °C to +80 °C, the standard SMT envelope (transport, storage, soldering, inspection, cleaning). For **bake-suitable** use on the same extra-large chassis, pick the [B0108GM-200C (200 °C)](pcb-b0108gm-200c-shop-standalone-rev2.html), which uses the same chassis with the same gear track. **The B0108 chassis does not offer a 300 °C HT variant**, for aerospace-grade 300 °C cure, step up to the [B0109GL HT-300C all-aluminum](pcb-b0109gl-ht-300c-shop-standalone-rev2.html) on the maximum-format chassis or step down to the [B0106GL HT-300C](pcb-b0106gl-ht-300c-shop-standalone-rev2.html) on the large-format chassis.
What’s the difference between this and a slotted-edge rack like RA-18C?
The B0108GN-80C is an **extra-large-format magazine rack**: 50 slots, 10 mm pitch, designed to drop into in-line SMT loader / unloader equipment.
